Saints

Congrats go out to Stan Priest and the entire WIOQ Team for the great April book including great ratings amongst Teens and Woman 18-34!

A big shoutout goes to B.o.B. who made a long overdue return to SINternet.com to record a new 'Vitamin B' in support of his current single "We Still In This B**ch" and new release "HeadBands." Thanks go out to Sam Crespo and Kevin Holiday for helping put the visit together.

A major thanks to Republic's Gary Spangler for dropping by S.I.N. to preview some of the label's upcoming releases including music from Enrique Iglesias, Austin Mahone and the new Jessie J.

Jeff 'JR' Rizzo and the RCA Pop Team take a walk on the Saints side as they continue their steady development of one of S.I.N.'s favorite Artists and Song, Labrinth's "Beneath Your Beautiful." The song was recently featured on Dancing With The Stars with the dance team using it receiving a Perfect 10 which is exactly what we feel this song is. Thanks go out to all the Programmers who have already embraced "Beneath Your Beautiful" and we encourage those to look to this single when your next ballad slot opens... you'll be glad you did, Vinny guarantees it.

Sinners

KKHH's Mark Adams takes a walk on the SINners side after challenging and betting against one of Vinny The SIN's favorite records... "Mark, I respect your confidence but encourage you not to spend your money. You're gonna need it when I come collecting."

Lightning strikes Programmers who keep reminding us that they have too little room to address the surplus of music they keep getting bombarded with and the Labels as well for continuing to flood the market. As music people, especially the S.I.N. family, we all love lots of new music but acknowledge that there's so much out right now and continues to come that some of the releases won't get the look they may deserve. To this we tell the labels work with the Programmers to help nurture and develop the singles they do get to and to the Programmers don't let the over-abundance deter you from embracing the New Music but instead commit to the releases you can make a difference with.

Showers drench Programmers who use Chart Positions as an excuse for how to react to records... with the marketplace as crowed as it is looking solely at Chart Numbers is a poor way to determine singles' development or potential. It's this reason we encourage the use of the S.I.N. Timetables where we monitor a record's activity based on longevity in the marketplace. Labels, the Timetables are a tool for you too serving as a way to monitor the music that remains active and has an impact on whether or not there may be room for the development of some New Releases.
